DTS - Discipleship Training School
DTS is an experience with God that will transform your life forever. There are many opportunities to serve and to develop your gifts. During the DTS you will receive tools that will help you discover your mission.
This course opens the door of opportunities for those who desire to get involved in missions and to be more effective as a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is more than just a theological course. It emphasizes the practical application of biblical principles, going beyond acquiring knowledge by developing a heart of faith. It is for Christians of all ages and cultures who desire that their lives have eternal value. People that have done DTS say that it has radically changed their lives and helped them to know God in a deep and more personal way.
The course duration is five months: three months classroom training followed by a two month outreach either within Brazil or abroad. This will bring experience on the field, open your vision for missions and the future opportunities in YWAM. We receive students from Brazil and other nations which creates an excellent opportunity of cultural exchange. This school is registered with the University of the Nations (20 credits) and is the first course you will need to do to be registered with the UofN.
The DTS takes place in Recife starting in January and July of each year. It is bilingual (Portuguese & English) and the requirements are to be a member of a church and have a recommendation from your pastor. Some of the teachings are: Fear of the Lord, Quiet Time, Prayer, Evangelism, Spiritual Warfare, Commitment with God, Plumb line, Father Heart of God and more.

Language: Portuguese and English.
Curriculum: Missions, Intercession, Quiet Time, Praise, Fear of the Lord, Evangelism, etc..
Requirements: pastoral recommendation.
